Prospective Student Tours

In conjunction with the University of Maine’s Open House events, the Darling Marine Center will offer tours for prospective high school students and their parents on Monday, October 5th and Tuesday, November 10th, both at 10am.

After attending an open house event and visiting the School of Marine Sciences in Orono, round out your UMaine visit with a tour of the University’s marine laboratory. The DMC is a two-hour drive from Orono, and definitely worth the trip. Come see our waterfront campus and learn about the exciting undergraduate courses and internships available to UMaine students.

If you plan to attend a DMC tour, please register (below) so we know how many people to expect.

• Tours will start at 10am at the Administration Building (a.k.a. the Horse Barn) which is the second building on the left as you drive onto campus.
