Public Seminars

Free & open to the public!

This summer the DMC will be offering a variety of marine science themed talks most Thursdays beginning May 23rd and concluding in late August!

Talks will be delivered by affiliates and friends of the center in Brooke Hall, the DMC dining and conference center located on the lower campus along the Damariscotta River.

Seminars will begin at 4:30pm, and dinner will be offered for purchase afterwards. Food at the DMC is thoughtfully catered by our chefs from Sodexo, with attention to dietary restrictions and preferences.

This is an excellent opportunity to see the field station’s scenic campus and learn about the exciting science it supports.

Registration is only required if you plan to partake in dinner following the talk. Dinner is $12.50 per person and is served buffet style!
