Brooke Hall Dining and Conference Space

Completed in the fall of 1999 and beautifully situated on a forested hillside overlooking the Damariscotta River, the Brooke Hall Conference Center was designed to accommodate our Semester by the Sea undergraduates, visitors from colleges & universities, and summer interns. With all its amenities, it has become a comfortable and relaxed setting for scientific and educational meetings, as well as a collaborative space for the DMC community.

This space has audio-visual equipment capable of displaying presentations and hosting Zoom conferences, all within reach of homemade refreshments. Large windows and a shady front deck overlook the peaceful views of the DMC’s lower campus.

Renting the Brooke Hall Conference space exacts a fee of $8 per person, per day, with an $80 minimum. The room can host up to 60 people, but for longer meetings a group size of 30-40 people is more comfortable.

Meal offerings vary in price, and can be curated upon request. Our chefs work hard to create inspired meals that cater to individual events and dietary needs. When other visitors and students are on campus, meal times are shared in this communal space.

We will work with visitors to make each event successful. Learn more about our food offerings and fees by contacting the Programs & Communications Manager at hattie.stiles@maine.edu.
