Lost to the Sea Registration

Lost to the Sea is a field conference is for people who own or manage coastal properties with shell middens. It will be held August 17-18, 2017, at the University of Maine’s Darling Marine Center in Walpole, ME. Invited participants are asked to register using this online form before July 20, 2017.

Thursday afternoon reception and Friday lunch are included in the $25 registration fee.

Overnight accommodations at the DMC – bed and breakfast – are available to conference participants at an additional fee. Thursday dinner will not be served a the DMC. Overnight guests are encouraged to sample the great eateries on the Pemaquid peninsula.

Thursday night lodging will be provided in Brooke Hall, our waterfront dormitory/dining facility or in shared seasonal cottages. Breakfast will be served prior to the conference getting underway on Friday morning in Brooke Hall.

Housing assignments will be made by DMC staff in such a manner as to accommodate as many conference participants as possible. Single accommodations are limited and requests will be filled as space allows. Sheets and towels are provided; make your own bed.
