McAlice Classroom

The DMC is a great place to have a field trip. Marine biology and ecology classes can explore nearby habitats at low tide and bring collected specimens back to the Center for close observation and experimentation. Located on the lower, waterfront campus, our flowing seawater classrooms seat 15- 30 students comfortably with microscopes and notebooks. Ambient flowing seawater keeps collected specimens alive for study. Video-equipped teaching microscopes project full-screen images to the front of the classroom. Contact us at dmc@main.edu for more information.
